Terms and conditions

Payment of deposit, commencement of the first session booked or any verbal or written agreement engaging our services infers acceptance of these terms and conditions.

All courses must be fully paid 14 days before the course date.
A deposit of 50% must be paid on booking lessons and courses to secure a place.
Cancellation more than 30 days before a course or lesson will incur no cancellation fee. Between 30 and 14 days will incur a 50% cancellation fee (deposit lost). Less than 14 days will incur a 100% cancellation fee.

Although all measures within reason are taken to mitigate the risk of injury, HMS does not accept responsibility for injuries sustained in lessons, courses or on the freestyle programme. Snowboarding has inherent risks which can result in serious or permanent injury or even death. If an injury does occur just before (14 days prior), during or between sessions already booked (with or without a deposit), the full amount is due for the sessions booked.
In the case of injury during a lesson or course, Horsemouth Snowboarding will provide you with an incident report form and receipt to accompany your doctor’s report for you to claim money back from your travel insurance company.

Please make sure you have a good insurance policy that can cover this eventuality.

Before starting a course or programme, students must sign the disclaimer that will be sent by email to each participant. This is a prerequisite to starting the course. You must also provide proof of insurance.
If you have special requirements then please contact us or mention it while booking with us. This includes serious allergies, conditions, injuries, disabilities or beliefs that may affect your ability to follow a course or lesson with us. This may also include language and comprehension difficulties. We reserve the right ot decline admission to a lesson or course for these reasons if they encroach on safety standards or if they are not mentioned beforehand.

Payment for courses is to be made when the course is confirmed i.e. when enough people have booked on (3) to make the course run. See How to Pay
Refunds will not be given due to late arrival (lessons will not be extended , illness, accident, part closure of the resort due to weather conditions or mechanical failure, or for any other cause outside the control of Horsemouth Snowboarding. We will happily provide a letter for insurance purposes.

Lesson dates can be changed at any time with no surcharge, subject to availability.

Proof of required ability level may be required before acceptance onto courses and programmes.

Horsemouth Snowboarding reserves the right to change the terms and conditions and admits that this is not an exhaustive list of circumstances.
